In Europe, during the summer of 1944, while the Wehrmacht “wages war” on three fronts, a Film Crew, on-location at a luxurious Baltic Sea resort, sets out to complete a motion picture rivaling “Citizen Kane” and “Casablanca.” As its headstrong director declares a “war of wills” on the powers of Berlin, the new Best Boy “declares war” on the Film Crew itself.

Daniel Fitzgibbons, a popular but mischievous student at a prestigious Catholic university, is summoned by Dean Malone (Tod Engle) to be interrogated about an alleged affair with Ms. Sevone, a young female professor. Fitzgibbons quickly turns the inquisition into a psychological chess match that threatens to reveal each man's hidden secrets in this 1950's period drama. Appearances can be deceiving, and deception will be critical if Daniel wants to save himself and his secret.

Genre: A tragic Psycho-Comedy in Two Acts
In the spring of 1920, four men of brutal power gather together in Chicago to dine on the world’s worst entrée. One makes plans. One makes choices. One bleeds. One “Gets the Girl”… and they all make history - ‘cause in Chicago,it’s not anything special, it’s just “business as usual.”
LUTFISK has had several readings, in both New York and Connecticut, and many rewrites over the last few years. Another reading is being planned for this current rewrite. Hopefully, I'll get to cast it and stage it this year. ~~ FSP
