CAST & BIOS

 

 

Becky Byers

Becky Byers (Megan Burke) has appeared in Codebreaker Productions' feature "The Sadist" and the NY Webisdode "Princess and the Pod" and reprises the role of 'Megan Burke' in DERELICT Films' "C A T A T O N I A." She hails from the New York stage where she was awarded the 2010 "Person of the Year Award" by NYTheatre.com. and also a NY Theater Innovative Theater Nominee for 2011 and 2015. She trained in acting at Wm. H. Macy & David Mamet's acclaimed Atlantic Theatre Company, and also at Weist Barron Studios of New York. She graduated with high honors with a M.F.A.in Jazz Dance performance from UARTS Philadelphia. 

Vincent Kulish

Vincent Kulish (Lance Walton) makes his independent feature film debut in "Play Hooky." He's appeared in several short films for Nosajretsehc Films. Vincent reprises his role of 'Lance' in "C A T A T O N I A.' A founding partners of DERELICT Films, Vincent is presently filming  the psychological crime thriller "CAL·12:The Butchers of Bremen."  He holds a BA in Communications & Media Arts from Western Connecticut State University.

Kim Kleemichen

Kim Kleemichen (Rosie Delgado) began her career as a fashion and commercial print model. Naturally, this opened a path for her to seek professional training in TV commercial technique, which lead to professional training with on-camera acting technique for TV and film.  "Play Hooky" is her independent motion picture debut. She reprises the role of 'Rosie Delgado' in "C A T A T O N I A." Kim also appeared in the award winning corporate video for Northeast Legal Video. She is presently filming for DERELICT Films' psychological crime thriller, "CAL·12: The Butchers of Bremen," in the lead role of  'Police Officer Gretta Wolff.'

Theresa Davis

Theresa Davis (Claire Kulikowski) appeared in two episodes of "The Prison Diaries" for The Learning Channel as well as in the short film "Medusa: Smoke and Mirrors" for Diva Blue Productions. She reappears in the role of  'Claire Kulikowski' in "C A T A T O N I A." She studied film acting at Weist Barron in New York. She also made an appearance in the Reality TV series, "Miami Ink" for The Learning Channel. The retainer she wore in her mouth, as 'Claire,' was her personal retainer that she wore in the 6th grade. Thanks, Mama Davis, for mailing it down from Vermont.

Bob Waters

Tom Petrone (Buddy) appeared in three short film comedies, "Payback," "This Job's A Blast" and "Chance of Armageddon"  for comic writer Mark Bellusci, and two feature length comedies, "Doing Agatha" for Out of Pocket Productions and 'Save the Forrest" for Up On The Roof Productions before turning to the dark-side with DERELICT Films. Tom reprises his role of 'Buddy' in "C A T A T O N I A." Currently, he is filming "CAL·12: The Butchers of Bremen," in the role of 'Jimmy Calfano,' for DERELICT Films.

J. Wright Chester

J. Wright Chester (Brad Walton) makes his independent feature film debut in "Play Hooky." He's appeared in several short films for Nosajretsehc Films. A founding partner of for DERELICT Films, Jason shot "C A T A T O N I A" and is presently filming the psychological crime thriller "CAL·12: The Butchers of Bremen."  A skilled artist, illustrator and photographer, Jason studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City.

Janice Rudolph

Bob Waters (Security Guard DeWitt) makes his independent motion picture debut in "Play Hooky." He reprises the role in DERELICT Films' sequel, "C A T A T O N I A." He also appeared in the award winning corporate video for Northeast Legal Video. Bob appeared as himself in Mellow Sounds Productions of "Street Corner Harmony," a documentary about a Capella groups, as he was an original member (bass) of the a Capella group "The Five Fashions." Bob is presently filming the psychological crime thriller "CAL·12: The Butchers of Bremen," for DERELICT Films, in the role of 'Jack Frost.'

Jordan Elizabeth Gelber

Jordan Elizabeth Gelber (Judith Klein) recently appeared in "Momsters: When Moms Go Bad" staring Rosanne Barr. She has also appeared in Big Beach Films' "Gods Behaving Badly," the award winning feature "Trophy Kids," Go Filmingo Film's  "Code Blue Eternal" and the horror film "Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet." Jordan holds a degree from Marymount Manhattan College in Communication Arts & Graphic Design.

Samantha Kulish

Janice Rusolph (Mrs. Burke) appeared in "Celebrity Ghost Stories" for The Biography Channel in the Jillian Barberie/Dan Cortese/Bruce Boxleitner episode. She trained professionally at Weist-Barron in New York in Basic and Advanced Commercial (Ed Ferron and Frank Spencer), Voiceover (Glen Holzer, John McKinney), Audiobooks Narration (Johnny Heller), Improv for Commercials (Jackie Sydney). Jan has also spent several years in Vocal Performance Workshops with Michele Grace and accompanist Chris Coogan.

Jessica DiGirolamo

Jessica DiGirolamo (Heather) Born and raised in the Bronx, Jessie makes her independent motion picture debut in "Play Hooky." She reprises the role of  'Heather' in DERELICT Films', "C A T A T O N I A," where she, at least, gets a chance to explain the deep affection and friendship 'Heather' has with 'Rosie.' Jessica also appeared in the award winning corporate video for Northeast Legal Video. She studied on-camera acting at Weist Barron Studios in New York City. Jessie is presently filming in "CAL·12: The Butchers of Bremen," DERELICT Films' psychological crime thriller.

Samantha Kulish (Sandy) Samantha earned her B.S. in Communication & Theater Arts and Elementary Education from Western Connecticut State University in 2006, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  Samantha has performed in the off-off-Broadway production of "Cleopatra" in the Midtown International Theater Festival 2008. Performing since the age of 10, she has appeared in over one hundred productions in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Samantha has directed, stage managed, and production teched, as well.

Wanda Nixon

Wanda Nixon (Mrs. Dickerson) makes her independent film debut in "Play Hooky." She undertook professional training in TV Commercial and On Camera acting and found her way to Weist Barron Studios in Manhattan where she met Frank S. Petrilli. Taking advantage of Wanda's natural acting instinct, Frank cast her in the role of 'Lou Berta' in a Connecticut stage presentation of the award winning play, "Quiet! Three Ladies Laughing" by Robert Hawkins. No surprise to Petrilli, Wanda found herself as comfortable on stage as she does on camera.
